Our commitment to a human kind future
Lautonomy is committed to efforts that combat and prevent human rights abuses, including modern slavery and tech-enabled harms.
We do not work with organizations or individuals known to be involved in modern slavery, human trafficking, or subject to international sanctions.
We do not work with governments where we suspect our technology may be used for purposes contrary to international human rights protections. This includes instances where AI may be used to support practices or policies that undermine the enjoyment of human rights. For example, while we are generally supportive of government efforts to use automated decision making (in limited instances and with appropriate controls), we would balk at this if either the underlying laws or policies being applied were contrary to international human rights law OR if the systemic and cumulative effect of deploying ADM would be a violation of human rights.
We actively support efforts to improve the due diligence of global supply chains for human rights and modern slavery risks. This involves ongoing work to improve predictors of human rights risk and ensure knowledge of human rights risk is available at the point of need.
